- 目前担任IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Internet of Things Journal、International Journal of Communication Systems、KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems等期刊编辑，以及曾担任Computer Journal、Science China Information Science、Journal of Universal Computer Science、IEEE Sensors Journal、IEEE Access等期刊的专刊编辑；担任过IEEE国际物联网大会（iThings）的程序Program Chair(2012)、Executive Chair(2013)、Steering Committee Member（2014，2015）；作为联合执行主席主办了2013国际赛博科技大会the 2013 World Cybermatics Congress (WCC2013/iThings2013/CPSCom2013/Greencom2013) (www.china-iot.net)。作为联合执行主席举办了2015国际智能空间大会(http://www.cybermatics.org/SmartWorldCongress2015/)。联合创建IEEE CIS Task Force on Smart World并担任Vice Chair（http://www.cybermatics.org/swtf/。获得IEEE Computer Society Meritorious Service Award (2014)，IEEE Computer Society Golden Core Award（2014，http://www.computer.org/web/awards/golden-core）。
代表性论文与专著
- 在包括Computer、IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems、IEEE Intelligent Systems、IEEE Communications Letters、IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security，IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Antenna and Wireless Propagation Letter, IEEE Cloud Computing, IEEE Access等期刊发表论文60余篇，其中发表于Computer(2013)、IEEE Intelligent Systems(2014)上的两篇文章，分别于2013年9月、2014年3月被Computing Now （IEEE）今日计算归档为热点主题文章。出版中文专著1部《RFID重大工程与国家物联网》（机械工业出版社，2009年第1版，2010年第2版，2012年第3版，2015年第4版）；授权发明专利10余项。获省部级奖励4项。建立起U2IoT（Unit and Ubiquitous Internet of Things）基础模型，并出版英文专著1部（《Unit and Ubiquitous Internet of Things》, Taylor and Francis Group，2013）。
