About
Connected vehicles and vehicular networks have
been identified as a key technology for increasing road safety and
transport efficiency. In recent years, vehicle infrastructure integration
technology attracts a great amount of attentions, and it can also bring
inestimable economic value, and will play an important role in the next generation
of intelligent transportation systems and communication network
development.
The goal of this workshop is to present and
discuss the recent advances in the connected vehicles and vehicular
networks. The related technologies, which are generally referred VCS
(Vehicular Communication Systems), include vehicle-to-infrastructure,
vehicle-to-vehicle communications etc. They can be realized based on short-
and medium-range communication as well as on cellular systems. The workshop
will cover all vehicular wireless networking aspects using a variety of
wireless communication techniques, such as WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, DSRC, WiMAX,
3G, LTE.
The topics not only cover the design and implementation of connected
vehicles and vehicular networks, but also include applications on
intelligent transportation systems, vehicle control and safety systems,
telematics and infotainment systems.

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cv2n2015
Authors
are invited to submit original papers that MUST NOT have been submitted to
or published in any other workshop, conference, or journal. All papers will
be peer-reviewed by members of the Program Committee and be evaluated for
originality, significance of the contribution, technical correctness and
presentation. Prepare your paper in IEEE CS format. Your final papers MUST
be formatted to IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscript Formatting
Guidelines (see "Template Format Guide").
Please find the Templates (8.5" x 11" x 2): Microsoft Word Template (DOC, PDF) and Latex_Templat.zip.
Each
submission should be regarded as an undertaking that, if the paper be
accepted, at least one of the authors must register for the conference and
attend the conference to present the work in order for the paper to be
included in the IEEE Digital Library.
Accepted papers will be published in proceedings of the
2015 Smart World Congress by IEEE Computer Society (EI indexed). Extended versions of selected best papers will
be considered for publication in special issues of several SCIE-indexed international journals.
Papers
submitted to special issues must be updated/expanded
prior to submission elsewhere.
