The International Conference on Cyber-Living, Cyber-Syndrome and Cyber-Health 2019 (CyberLife
2019) will
be held in Beijing, China during December 16-18, 2019.
Introduction
Information and communication technology have definitely made our lives easier and enabled us to
make
enormous
advancements in different fields and domains. However, the cost of such advancements is the
emergence of
many
physical, social and mental disorders, that affect the users at the individual level, as well as
the
community
as a whole. Cyber-syndrome is the physical, social, and mental disorders that affect the human
being due
to
the
excessive interaction with the cyberspace. For example, recently researchers have estimated that 6
percent of
the world's population is addicted to the internet, not to mention other forms of addiction
brought by
excessive
usage or misusage of technology, such as gaming addiction and cyberbullying. In addition to that
many
trending
computing paradigms are making the human the center of the computing architectures, such as
internet of
people
(IoP), people-centric computing, people-centric internet of things, human crowd sensing, body area
networks
(BAN). Thus, exposing the human to an immense amount of radiations, and putting him in a perilous
position in
the front line against serious health risks. On the other hand, many modern technologies, like
image
processing,
data science and cyber-physical systems have boosted up the modern Cyber-Health systems, not only
by
hardware
inventions but also at the software level. For example, data sciences have helped the healthcare
community by
offering diagnosis, assessment and treatment systems. It has been done by analyzing the medical
data
using
data
analysis, machine learning and deep learning mechanisms.
The International Conference on Cyber-Living, Cyber-Syndrome and Cyber-Health 2019 (CyberLife
2019) will
continue to discuss and communicate with the living and health in Cyberspace, reach existing smart
medical
framework solutions, report on privacy protection issues and follow-up research directions arising
from
smart
healthcare. Researchers, scholars and engineers are warmly and sincerely welcomed to communicate
and
exchange
their brilliant ideas, and any other collaboration forms and ideas on Cyber-Living, Cyber-Syndrome
and
Cyber-Health which you are interested will be deeply expected.
